The producer Rupesh Mishra says it is a golden moment of change in Maithili cinema industry which is not yet established, as the team is trained professionals from film schools, MBA graduates and young entrepreneurs belonging from Bihar who love their culture, language and returning home to serve the motherland best for growth and positive response.
The director of the film Vikash Jha explains the idea behind the film. “We are oriented with the objective to make a class apart Maithili cinema with brightest cinematic glory. Apart from any political convictions, this film deals with exaggerated imagination of usual events happening around society that is usually overlooked by civilians. It's about the journey of a god gifted character whose name is Mukhiya Jee played by Subhash Chandra Mishra on screen who confronts with social norms in his own way that creates a new shape of screen entertainment," he added.
It is among those few Maithili films which can boast of 5.1 Dolby digital sound. The film's music director Pravesh Mallick is hopeful about the reception of the music by the common audiences. “The music of Mukhiya Jee is quite different from the others as it has very new concept especially for any regional cinema. Two songs are based on objects like paan (beetle) and mobile, a very soulful and heart touching romantic song, a typical kirtan which we recorded live for feel, an item song, then songs for introduction of hero and heroine. “I am sure that the audience will feel like main stream film's songs," he said.

He has done a range of short films in different challenging roles including Roommates, Abhivritti and Auditions. He not only acted in the film but also trained other artists who were working in this film for better results. Subhash is dedicated to work as an actor in his mother tongue Maithili too and realizes his responsibility to promote it as forefront language.
