Patna,(BiharTimes): A girl was raped and subsequently killed in Bhagwanganj village in Masaurhi sub-division of Patna district on Tuesday.
Local residents alleged that Dinesh Manjhi took Sangeeta to a remote place, where he raped her. After committing the crime he killed her. They alleged that the girl, along with others, was watching CD, when she was taken away by Dinesh.

The villagers took to streets and protested against the killing and demanded the arrest of the culprit.
The SDO, Masaurhi, reached the spot and assured them that action would be taken against the accused. Upon this the people dispersed.
