Patna,(BiharTimes): The state government is about to enhance the retirement age of primary and secondary school teachers from 60 to 62 years.
|
Reports quoting sources said that the state HRD minister P K Shahi has taken a principled decision in this regard. This followed a repeated demands made by the primary teachers and secondary teachers associations.
The file relating to the proposed enhancement of the retirement age of primary school teachers has been sent to the finance department. A decision in this regard would be taken by the state cabinet.
