Patna,(BiharTimes): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited an all-party delegation from Bihar to meet him over the issue of coal-linkage for Barauni Thermal Power Plant. |
The all-party delegation would be led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. It would submit a memorandum to press for various other demands.
The delegation will also appeal to the Prime Minister to give 50 per cent share in electricity from Barh and Kahalgaon thermal power plants of the NTPC to the state.
Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who will be accompanying the chief minister, had to withdraw from the debate organized by The Telegraph on regionalism owing to a sudden all-party meeting called by the Prime Minister. The debate is schedule on Friday evening.
