Patna,(BiharTimes): The designated CBI court of Sitaram Prasad in Ranchi on Wednesday rejected a petition which sought to make Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Janata Dal (United) national spokesman and Rajya Sabha MP Sivanand Tiwari accused in the Rs 950-crore fodder scam case.

The names of the two leaders had been first specified by Shyam Bihari Sinha, the kingpin of the scam. Sinha was the regional director of the Animal Husbandry department at the time of the scam.
He had reportedly claimed that Nitish Kumar and Sivanand Tiwari had received kickbacks to the tune of Rs one crore and Rs 60 lakhs respectively routed through him.
The court rejected the petition filed by one Mithilesh Kumar on the ground that there was no proof against them.
