Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after the Supreme Court ruling on the 2G Spectrum scam State BJP chief Dr C P Thakur was on Friday unsparing in his criticism of the entire political as well as business class of the country, including that of his own state, Bihar.
In a statement on Friday he said that the apex court order was a singular lesson for the country’s entire political class and public servants, including in Bihar, that they cannot play trifle with their constitutional responsibility to protect national interests while in positions of power and authority.

He also said the SC order amounted to giving serious warning to the business class to pursue their activities without compromising the law of land. In a way, the Supreme Court has said that they cannot and should not get their work done by greasing palms or paying money.
Off and on Dr Thakur has been critical of the functioning of the Nitish Kumar government. Only last month while addressing a meeting he narrated how even he had to face the demand of bribe from an engineer for the construction of a school building. But his special reference to the politicians and officials of Bihar in context with the 2G Spectrum scam has some political meaning. After all the BIADA land scam in Bihar is also based on the first-come-first served basis.
Thus Dr Thakur called the SC order as a “historic judgment for all”.
