BJP-Janata Dal (Unied) wordy duel intensifies

Patna,(BiharTimes): The war of words between Janata Dal (United) and Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified further with the spokesman of the former, Neeraj Kumar, asking the Hindutva party
bigwigs to remain within limits. In doing so he did not spare even Lal Krishna Advani and Shahnawaz Husain.Neeraj was reportedly furious over some remarks made by Shahnawaz Husain and other leaders.

He said why the BJP leaders, while campaigning in UP, are not giving credit to Nitish Kumar for the Bihar Model. He even went on to warn the BJP about the coming Lok Sabha election in 2014.

However, Shahnawaz Husain, who is the BJP MP of Bhagalpur, hotly denied that he had said anything against the
alliance partner Janata Dal (United) in Uttar Pradesh. Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who had also campaigned for his party in east UP, said “some misunderstandings might have crept into and we are looking into it.” He said that his party leaders had not made any adverse comments on the relationship with the Janata
Dal (United) in Bihar. He said some newspapers might have present the statement of some BJP leaders in a distorted manner.

Meanwhile, the RJD leader, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, said that the unholy alliance between the BJP and Janata Dal
(United) is not going to last long. Political observers are surprised, as to why of all the spokesmen, the Janata Dal (United) is using Neeraj Kumar to give such stern warnings. He even canvased for his party’s candidates in UP. They feel that Neeraj is a much junior leader and can not speak on his own. He certainly had the green signal of the party leadership, they added.

Shahi flays Chancellor, VCs for prevailing condition in universities of Bihar Patna,(BiharTimes): Human Resources Development minister Prashant Kumar Shahi on Monday held the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors responsible for the prevailing condition in universities of Bihar.
