Patna,(BiharTimes): Patna Police on Sunday evening seized 27 kg of opium from a flour mill under Chak police station of the state capital.
Police raided the flour mill following a tip off and recovered the opium.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Alok Kumar the operator of the mill and another person were arrested in this connection. Police also seized 2.5 kg poppy seeds from another place near the flour mill and arrested one person.
The price in the international market of the seized opium and poppy is said to be in crores.
