Patna,(BiharTimes): The body of a junior engineer of PowerGrid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL), Bikrama Thakur, was recovered from Lahurabari village of Kaimur district on Sunday. He was abducted allegedly by his driver in Gopalganj district a week ago.

According to Rohtas SP Manu Maharaj police had seized an abandoned car at a place under Kochas police station three days ago. A bank slip was recovered from the vehicle by the police who later arrested a person Shree Ram Paswan.
The police recovered the body of Bikrama Thakur in neighbouring Kaimur district on the basis of the inputs provided by Shree Ram Paswan.
The SP said that the investigation revealed that the driver of the junior engineer had abducted him while coming to Kaimur from Bhore in Gopalganj district.
The driver, Jitender Paswan, had withdrawn Rs 1.20 lakh using the ATM of the junior engineer. Police have recovered Rs 51,500 from Shree Ram Paswan. However, the driver is absconding.
