Patna,(BiharTimes): There was a major goof up on the first day of the Global Summit when the deputy chairman of the Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, could not find place on the dais and was made to sit with the audience.
As he holds the post equivalent to the Union cabinet minister the protocol demands suitable place for him on the dais. |
However, the mistake was soon rectified and he was called on the dais.Strangely after the Inaugural Session only one-fourth of the audience was left to attend the Plenary Session in the Shri Krishna Memorial Hall. There was lack of enthusiasm among the people.
According to a political observer the captive audience, that is the Secretariat staff brought on buses, formed a sizeable number of those who were left to listen to the speakers.
The scene will shift to Maurya Hotel in the next two days.
