Patna,(BiharTimes): The Circle Officer of Sikti in Araria district, Surendra Pandey, on Sunday lodged a case against the local BJP MLA Anandi Yadav. The MLA has been charged with assaulting the CO, obstracting him in the official work and threatening him over phone to eliminate him.

Besides, the CO levelled some other serious charges against him. The FIR said that the legislator had been indulging in arm-twisting for personal work and that he wanted to get the parcha meant for Dalits be distributed among his relatives.
The MLA, however, was not accessible to the media. The MLA has an image of strongman and has a considerable influence over the party in the region.
