Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar is lagging far behind in achieving the target of distribution of agriculture credit and expenditure of plan funds during 2011-12 fiscal. |
According to a PTI report quoting NABARD sources against the target of Rs 21,000 crore for agri-credit during 2011-12, hardly Rs 8000 crore were distributed by the end of November 2011. The state government had also increased the plan size to Rs 24,000 for the current fiscal, but the figures of plan expenditure were far from satisfactory. This was recently pointed out by the leader of opposition
in the state Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui.
