Patna,(BiharTimes): Yet another kidnapped boy was killed in Bihar on Saturday. This follows the recovery of the bodies of two children––one each from Gopalganj and Aurangabad districts in the first week of December.
The body of 11-year-old Mohammed Abdul Salam was found outside his village, Bihari under Bhagwanpur police station of Vaishali district on Saturday evening. |
He was abducted from his village a day earlier. The family member had on Saturday morning received a call from a person, who did not identify himself but demanded Rs 10 lakh to release the boy.
However, by evening villagers found the body of a boy on its outskirts. When the relatives rushed to the spot they identified it that it was of Salam’s.
Salam was a student of Class-V and was taken hostage when he had gone to a shop in a nearby market on Friday to recharge his mobile phone. When he did not return home till late in the evening, his relatives got in touch with Bhagwanpur police station.
