Journalist, pregnant wife beaten by landlord in Patna

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar correspondent of Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle, Anand ST Das and his four-month pregnant wife, Asha Purna Das, were alleged to be beaten by their house
owner, Janardhan Ojha, in Kankarbagh Colony on Saturday. According to reports, they were brutally assaulted by the landlord following dispute over vacating their rented accommodation here in Patna.

He reportedly came under attack when he tried to rescue his pregnant wife after she went to landlord to ask why electricity was cut off by him on Friday night. Das, an award-winning journalist, is originally from Odisha and has been working in Patna for quite sometime.
