A sum of Rs 144 crore was also sanctioned by the government under Bihar Disability Pension Scheme and Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme to help around 4.20 lakh differently abled persons.
The cabinet decided to increase the ex-gratia amount from the present Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 for persons killed in accidents. But the person must be a livelihood earner within the age-limit of 18 to 64 and should come from the below poverty line category.
The cabinet approved Rs 83.36 crore for the current fiscal under National Family Benefit Scheme. Besides, it approved Rs 125 crore for Mukhya Mantri Alpsankhyak Rozgar Rinn Yojana for five years from 2012-13 to 2016-17. |
