Patna,(BiharTimes): A team comprising Central University of Bihar Vice Chancellor Janak Pandey, education department principal secretary Amarjeet Sinha and education department joint secretary Amit Khare visited Motihari to inspect land for the proposed campus of the institute.
According to district magistrate, East Champaran, Abhijit Sinha officials from Central University of Bihar and the state education department held a meeting at Circuit House. However, the outcome of the meeting could not be known. |
Reports said that the delegates visited two sites. The first one at Fursatpur, which is five km south of Motihari town, and the other one at Rupdih, six km north of Motihari. Both the sites have around 300 acres of land each.
Reports also said that even if Motihari does not get a full campus, it can start a few courses.
As reported earlier the Union government has procured 300 acres of defence ministry land in Gaya after the Nitish government refused to provide land for the campus in the district.
