JD (U) MLA received extortion message of Rs one crore

Patna,(BiharTimes): Ram Balak Singh, Vibhutipur MLA of Janata Dal (United), on Saturday received an extortion demand of Rs one crore on SMS. He got the SMS from phone number 8557811458.
According to the MLA the message had warned him of dire consequences if the amount is not paid. He had filed an FIR and the local SHO had taken the message.

This is not the first case of MPs and legislators getting threatening calls from the criminals. In most of the cases ruling party leaders are being targeted.
