Patna,(BiharTimes): A division bench of Justice P C Verma and Justice Vikas Jain of Patna High Court on Wednesday vacated the stay on construction of a beer factory of UB Group of Vijay Mallya at Naubatpur in Patna district.
The court passed the order on the petition filed by Abhisek Kumar and others. |
The court had earlier stayed the construction of the factory of UB Group on February 15, 2012.
It needs to be recalled that the petitioners had alleged that the land was initially acquired by the state government for the purpose of setting up a sugar mill but Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) transferred it to the UB Group for setting up liquor factory.
The court order has paved the way for the construction of the beer factory.
