Patna,(BiharTimes): Opposition MLAs in the state Assembly raised the issue of abduction of former Indian Information Service officer, Javed Akhtar, by a Janata Dal (United) MLA, Amarendra Pandey alias Pappu Pandey. Amarendra is the brother of noted gangster Satish Pandey. The latter is quite active in Gopalganj-Siwan region in Bihar and in neighbouring districts of Uttar Pradesh. He has several serious cases of murder, extortion, dacority etc against him. |
Javed Akhtar’s wife had on Tuesday accused the Janata Dal (United) MLA of obtaining Rs 55 as extortion for the release of her husband. Her interview was telecast by several regional television channels. She lives in Noida but the family is originally from Bihar.
The incident has put a question mark on the tall claims of the Bihar government. Chief minister, Nitish Kumar, has ordered a probe into the matter.
The issue was raised on Wednesday in the Assembly by the leader of opposition Abdul Bari Siddiqui. He had raised the matter on Tuesday too. However, Gopalganj SP says no FIR has been registered in this connection in the district.
According to her wife the ruling party MLA had abducted her husband from Kuchaikot area of Gopalganj district a few days back. Initially he demand Rs two crore. However, when she expressed her helplessness he asked for Rs 70 lakh. Finally she somewhat managed to pay Rs 55 lakh to secure release of her husband.
She charged that the MLA himself had come in a Scorpio to receive the ransom money of Rs 55 lakh.
However, the MLA refuted all the charges and said he is ready for any probe into the matter. He said he has Endeavour, Safari and Pajero, but no Scorpio.

Every one in Bihar who is connected to the ruling party or someone powerful is prepared to face a probe . Nitish wants to pass the acid test , now his mentor , financer and accomplice in many other deeds Vinay Shin is prepared to face a probe. CBI probes are ordered on matters of no consequence but on something so vital as the AC DC bill which involves thousands of crores, or the excise scam or the fake admission scam or the BIADA the government cannot trust the CBI. Nothing less than the chief secretary's inquiry will do. But best of all when electricity vigilance cell started looking into the 4000 crore electricity scam the government not only transferred the then DG Manoje Nath , it has closed the electricity vigilance cell which was established in the regime of Laloo with the specific purpose of curbing electricity theft. Nitish who has been quick to lose temper whenever his personal integrity is questioned has not said a word when he has been linked with this on at least dozens of occasions

It is too far to think that they will serve janta by reducing the number of criminals. They themselves are criminal
and looting public directly or indirectly. Recent murder of IPS and many such incident revealed how political individual and
criminals are well linked to each-other.
It some times force me to ignore the political news because from President of India to all level in political affairs there is big loot directly or indirectly.
Our current president topped till date all president in spending for foreign tour with her family.
And here again thinking what will happen by sending this comment .. but still sending this comment. unable to hold ....
also not able to understtand the their morality and objective of life.
We are toiling day and night to save lakhs and they play with crores ... mostly illegal way.
