Patna,(BiharTimes): A Public Distribution System (PDS) dealer Ajay Yadav was beaten to death by suspected Maoists at Lutwa village under Imamganj police station of Gaya district late on Friday night.
Old enmity is stated to be the reason behind the killing of Ajay Yadav. |
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Vinay Kumar around 20 Maoists raided the village and overpowered Ajay Yadav before beating him to death by iron rods and sticks.
Imamganj and neighbouring Dumaria blocks are Maoists’ stronghold. The Imamganj Assembly seat is represented in the Bihar Assembly by speaker, Uday Narayan Chaudhary.
