Patna,(BiharTimes): Three days after the Union minister of state for Human Resources Development, E Ahmad, made the categorical statement in Rajya Sabha that the Central University of Bihar would be opened in Gaya and not Motihari as the expert committee has rejected the latter a delegation of 25 Janata Dal (United) and BJP MPs from the state met

Later talking to reporters outside Parliament BJP MP from East Champaran Radha Mohan Singh, who is also the former state party chief, said the delegation submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister in this regard.
However, CUB sources said that after the final announcement it was meaningless for the MPs to meet the Prime Minister. A source told BiharTimes that the CUB is most likely to start its next academic session in Gaya and Motihari was never in its consideration. It was only the NDA leaders with the help of media, which was playing politics. The expert committee had rejected the proposal long back. After all, as per the Constitution, opening central university is the discretion of the central government and state has no role whatsoever.
The sources said that after having lost the battle over CUB the NDA leaders, including the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, is indulging in face-saving exercise. The delegation was a part of the same exercise. The whole CUB game plan backfired on the NDA.

My humble request to NDA MPs: Please for GOD sake, wake up sir and understand the condition of Bihar. Let’s fight for Bihar and not for Motihari and Gaya. It’s all our Bihar only. Let CUB come wherever center wants in Bihar. And let’s demand more central university based on population of Bihar. Karnataka has 300 (I mean three hundred and more) centrally funded R&D labs. Most of them are in Bangalore. More than 50% people working in these labs are from North India. Please demand similar investment in Bihar from Center on behalf of all Bihar. You will be honored and worshiped if you can get the same in Bihar. We the people of Bihar will support you tooth and nail for it.

Nitishocracy : Rule Number Two (Blow things out of proportion)
It is not a genuine show of ferocious antagonism between the centre and the state with respect to CUB at Gaya. It is actually the ego of a dictator which is at stake.Any sensible Bihari will understand in a jiffy what it means to create hurdles in the way of a central university in Bihar. Here is a chief minister who is accustomed to rejecting people's will at his whim and he does so in front of a sold out media making an open mockery of the tactical democracy, a system fast reaching it's self induced doom.
Bihar is at the mercy of the whim of a bunch of scoundrels who have tactically ensured a majority unfortunately, legally required to boot out the very aspiration of people.
One can only dream of seeing something sensible happening in this part of the world as long as Nitish reigns supreme and unchallenged. It's a shame the judiciary doesn't have enough spine to question the right of a state body unauthorizingly impeding a central human development program aimed at uplifting the standard of education in the land of Budha. The fundamental question facing Bihar today is not what is happening in Bihar. But if there is something called the rule of Law or aspiration of citizens ?
To my mind the only possible way out to get rid of the nonsensical delay in everything related to Bihar is to literally uproot the system governing our beloved state.

Its pure politics by Sibal--- If Bihar Assembly passed unanimous resolution in favour of Motihari and recently more than 30 MPs supported the location of CUB at Motihari. Then why Sibal is so adament. He is not at all concerned for Bihar

I Request to state govt.
(Nitish Kumar) should stop this exercise of making pressure on central govt, to establish university in Bihar at Motihari even though we understand that demand of University at Motihari is genuine. But why do exercise to delay in project and may be delay in start academy . if Central govt will take as personal EGO then Gaya will loose also CUB OR Postpond to start academy . Let Central govt. establish Central university wherever they want in Bihar. Let education be started with this university;
After getting this university establish, I would urge state govt.(Nitish Kumar) either demand for new central university at Motihari or State University at Motihari on its own cost. The govt. should demand for central Help .

Gaya is not in Afghanista.Why Nitish is so adament. He is chief minister of Bihar not of Motihari or Nalanda. If technical team selected the site then why so much politics and no one can give any argument why CUB should not be at Gaya. It hardly makes any difference if CUB is in Moti hari or Gaya. In Mitihari the state will loose 500 acres of fertile land.. Nitish may bargain with central govt. for some other project. Bihar will loose a prestigious institute just for his ego.
