RJD takes strong exception to the use of language by Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): The leader of opposition in the state Assembly, Abdul Bari Siddiqui, has taken a strong exception to the language being used by chief minister Nitish Kumar these days.

Talking to newsmen on Thursday he said Nitish Kumar is using expressions like Patkania de denge as if he is not a politician but a wrestler. The chief minister said so while speaking on the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel on Oct 31.

Siddiqui said that though the Bihar Assembly in April 2002 unanimously passed a resolution demanding both special package and special assistance to Bihar to compensate for
losses of resources arising out of bifurcation of the state in November 2000 the ruling Janata Dal (United) is not even taking the alliance partner, the BJP into confidence to hold the Adhikar Rally for demanding the special status category. This shows how serious the chief minister is in getting the special status for the state.

Siddiqui said that Nitish is behaving like a dictator as these days he is publicly stating that he would wipe out his political opponents in next elections.

He said that if the chief minister is really serious on the special status he should call an all-party meeting in this regard.

He reiterated that the demand for special status was first made by the RJD government.
