Patna,(BiharTimes): Though the Patna Municipal Corporation has claimed that it has removed posters and banners from near statues of national icons at various roundabouts after the chief minister Nitish Kumar’s order, the truth is that many such hoardings are still in their places. The one at Dinkar Roundabout is one such example.

What is more surprising is that a big hoarding, having Nitish Kumar in the centre and controversial ex-MLA Munna Shukla on one side and his MLA wife Annu Shukla on the other is very much visible near S K Memorial Hall till Friday.
Incidentally, Nitish himself inspected the venue at Gandhi Maidan on Thursday evening and might have seen this big hoarding. Munna is not just a convict in a murder case, on Oct 27 he is alleged to have made extortion call from jail demanding Rs two crore from the director of a college for the Adhikar Rally.
Not only that: some of the hoardings have old faces. For example, the photos of food and consumer protection minister Shyam Rajak are visible at many places in the state capital. In the earlier rallies of RJD too he used to be a quite prominent figure on hoardings.
