They all wanted him to forget the matter as the police has sought to serve a noble cause by using his image to inspire tribal youth to turn to education. Some of the comments came from abroad.
Meanwhile, the Kaimur SP, Uma Shankar Sudhanshu, said all the posters were removed from the district. Amitabh Bachchan has also conveyed a message that the matter is settled and no legal action will be taken against anybody.
Additional SP (Operations), Adhaura (Kaimur), Manoj Kumar Yadav, the man behind the initiative, was overwhelmed by Bachchan’s kindness and hoped he would visit the place to see the positive impact he had made on the area. He said the posters were used as a part of community policing in the backward areas of Kaimur.
He said there are a large number of unemployed youth in the Maoist-affected areas, who are not aware of the professional courses. It is not possible for the security personnel to provide them higher education, but the popular personalities can always motivate the young minds to join the mainstream of society.
