Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad Yadav said on Thursday that no political party should announce the name of chief minister or prime minister before the election.
|
Talking to the media he said the name of the CM or PM should be decided after the election. He said if the name is announced prior to the election it is not digested by the people. For example, “We announced last time that Lalu Yadav would be the chief minister and (Pashupati Kumar) Paras the deputy chief minister. This rattled many people. He once again said that people of any bradari (caste or creed) can become chief minister or prime minister.
He said that politicians should not indulge in mud-slinging and call each other chor (thief). “The Congress and BJP indulged in it so did me,” he said.
On a question of Nitish Kumar’s visit to Pakistan he said one should go to that country, but the chief minister should reconsider his ties with BJP and RSS after his return.
