Bihar BJP leaders not invited to campaign in Gujarat
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, the BJP national spokesman, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Bhagalpur MP, Syed Shahnawaz Husain, have not been invited by the Gujarat unit of the BJP to campaign in the state during the coming Assembly election in that state.
The names of these three personalities are missing from the list of the speakers for some very obvious political reasons. Only last week Sushil Modi opposed the proposal to invite Gujarat CM, Narendra Modi, in the Hunkar Yatra to be organized in Patna next year. He did so in spite of the fact that the state BJP chief, Dr C P Thakur, made it public that Narendra Modi would be taking part in it.
Sushil Modi is considered quite close to the chief minister Nitish Kumar. It is said that the latter influenced him to make such an announcement. This upset the pro-Narendra Modi faction in the state as well as national politics. So they deemed it fit to drop his name.
