Janata Dal (United) MLA dies of heart attack

Patna,(BiharTimes): Ruling Janata Dal (United) legislator, Ram Sevak Hazari, died of heart failure in the early hours of Saturday. He was 75 and is survived by two sons and four daughters.
One of his sons, Maheshwar Hazari, is at present JD(U) MP from Samastipur while another son Sashi Bhushan Hazari is MLA from the same party from Kusheswarsthan in Darbhanga. His daughter-in-law Manju Hazari is JD(U) MLA from Rosera constituency in Samastipur.

Late Hazari was MLA from Kalyanpur in Samastipur district. He breathed his last at the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.

He was a close associate of former Bihar chief minister and socialist leader, Karpoori Thakur. He was elected to the state assembly six times and also served as MP from Rosera (reserved) in 1977.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar condoled the death of Hazari and announced that the departed leader would be given a state funeral.
