Patna,(BiharTimes): Notwithstanding pointed question chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday refused to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the coalgate issue.
He adopted this approach notwithstanding the fact that the alliance partner the BJP has repeatedly demanded his resignation. It did not allow Parliament to function once again for the 10th on Tuesday. |
Nitish said that there can be a debate in Parliament and all the issues and demands related to the issue can also be put forth. Some parties are also favouring this.
Not only that the chief minister went on to add that as a matter of set norms and system, the CAG reports are referred to the Public Accounts Committee.
However, he hastened to add that the central leadership of Janata Dal (United) has taken up the matter and making its stand clear.
