Patna,(BiharTimes): A 35-year-old woman, Ruby Verma and her 10-year-old son, Harsh, were murdered at their Loco Colony residence in Jakkanpur locality of Patna on Thursday afternoon.
Incidentally, Ruby’s husband, Manoj Verma (45), a travelling ticket examiner attached to Rajdhani Express is said to be the man behind this act. He took a heavy doze of tranquilizer after the incident and is getting treatment at Rajeshwar Hospital. He had confessed to the crime.

The mother-son duo, died on the spot after Manoj reportedly attacked them with an iron rod. The incident came to light at 3:30 pm after the couples daughter, Ruhi, returned from her school, St Joseph Convent.
According to the police the motive of the murder is not clear at this moment.
The family of Ajay Verma, brother of Manoj and also a railway employee, lives just beside. Ajay was on duty then.
Manoj was at home because he had an evening shift.
