Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday termed the Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee’s decision to withdraw support to the UPA government for allowing 51 per cent FDI in multi-brand retail as an internal matter of the UPA.

Talking to the reporters in Patna he said the Centre should roll back rise in diesel price and its decision to allow FDI in multi-brand retail sector. It should also consider to increase the number of subsidized LPG cylinders for the consumers.
He said JD(U) has organized a Adhikar rally at the Gandhi Maidan here on November 4 next to press for the special category demand and urged the people to turn up in large numbers to make the event a success.
He said the Bihar government has decided on principle to modify VAT on diesel. This will bring down the price of diesel in the state.
The final decision on this count would be taken in a day or two.
The Chief Minister said he would embark on Adhikar Yatra from Betiah (West Champaran) from Sep 19 to mobilise public support on the special status category. He said that he would postpone the tour for a day on September 20 in view of the nationwide strike called by the NDA to oppose diesel price hike, FDI in multi-brand retail and rationing of subsidized LPG cylinders before resuming his tour to various districts.
