Patna,(BiharTimes): The Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by the Superintendent of Police (SP) Sheo Kumar Jha has been directed to rush to Khagaria district and probe the large-scale protest during Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Adhikar Yatra on Sep 27.
According to the Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Headquarters, Ravindra Kumar, the SIT will submit a report to the police headquarters. He said that Khagaria police have arrested two more protesters taking the number of those arrested in connection with violence in the district to 37.
Meanwhile, raids were being carried out to nab other accused persons.
