Patna,(BiharTimes): A British parliamentary delegation on Thursday called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi. Among other things they discussed various aspects of cooperation between Britain and Bihar.

According to an official release the delegates of the United Kingdom Commonwealth Parliamentary Association comprising Alun Cairns, Lord Career, Jonathan Djanogly, Baroness Gale, Baroness Bushcombe, Diana Johnson, Mary Macleod, Seema Malhotra and Lord Rana met the chief minister and his deputy separately and discussed various ongoing works being funded by the Department For International Development (DFID) in Bihar.

Other issues related to education, health services, prospects in tourism sector and law and order also came up during the discussion.
