Patna,(BiharTimes): The examination pattern of Civil Services (Mains) is to undergo major changes.
The UPSC chairman, D P Agrawal, said that the recommendations of the committee headed by Arun S Nigavekar suggesting changes in the syllabus had been sent to the Union government for its consideration. |
He said some critical changes have already been brought in Preliminary and Mains examinations in the last couple of years.
In keeping with the large number of applications pouring in with the Commissions under the Right to Information the Chairman said that the Public Service Commissions (PSCs) should formulate an effective mechanism for addressing public grievances thereby making the recruitment process more transparent and capable of standing all sorts of trial.
Agrawal said as per the suggestions at the Mumbai conference of the state PSCs the national conference cell of the UPSC had compiled the synopsis for RTI cases from different states and forwarded them to the PSCs to do away with uncalled for litigations.
