Vashist Narayan Singh all set to be re-elected as Bihar JD(U) President
Patna,(BiharTimes): The president of Bihar unit of Janata Dal (United), Vashist Narayan Singh, is all set to be re-elected for the second consecutive term as nobody has filed the nomination papers.
Singh, who enjoyed the blessing of chief minister Nitish Kumar, is the lone candidate to file nomination for the post on Sunday.
Nitish himself was present in the party office during the filing of nomination. He is among the proposer of the name of Singh for the post of party state president.
According to party election officer Gyanendra Kumar Singh Gyanu the name of the new Bihar JD(U) President would be announced in the party’s state council here on Monday.
