HC asks Bihar govt why university teachers pay not revised

Patna,(BiharTimes): A single bench of Justice Navaniti Prasad Singh on Wednesday directed principal secretary, higher education department and Vice Chancellors of all universities of the state to explain why the pay scale of teachers of the respective universities was not revised despite orders passed by the high court.

The order was passed during hearing of contempt petitions of Mohini Das and other teachers on whose writ petitions the high court had passed payment of revised pay scale as per UGC provisions.
