Patna,(BiharTimes): Protesting strongly against the apathetic attitude of the Nitish Kumar government a girl, suffering from polio, on Monday slashed her hand with a blade before the chief minister.
The incident took place during Janata Darbar and the chief minister was visibly upset over it. He reportedly said that if you had to do this you should have done it somewhere else.

The girl, Sarojini, approached the chief minister for a job. But Sarojini said she took the extreme step when the chief minister referred her application to the district magistrate. “Why should I meet the DM, when I met him so many times and nothing has been done,” she said adding that she had knocked at all the doors and even visited Janata Darbar in the past but nothing had happened. “It is useless to live when a girl like me had to run from pillar to post,” she told the media.
The chief minister tried to cool her down by stating that one had to struggle to achieve something.
Later the chief minister said he had promised her that he would finance her computer education from his own salary.
Meanwhile, two elderly women were struck by cold wave during the Janata Darbar. The doctors immediately attended them.
