Patna,(BiharTimes): After November 4 Adhikar Rally the ruling Janata Dal (United) on Monday decided to organize a rally in Delhi on March 17 to press for the demand for grant of special category status to Bihar.
According to state Janata Dal (United) President Vashist Narayan Singh the rally would be attended by a large number of people from Bihar and those from the state living in Delhi.

The decision on the date was taken at a meeting of party MPs, MLAs and MLCs chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday.
The party would organize another rally on November 4 in Patna this year to press for the same old demand.
Chief minister Nitish Kumar had raised the issue at a meeting of National Development Council (NDC) on Dec 27 last.
Political observers are of the view that through this rally the Janata Dal (United) wants to assert itself at the national level alone. It wants to test the political water of Delhi. “If Nitish Kumar is really serious about getting special category status for Bihar why is he not taking the BJP leaders into confidence. After all he is running government with them. In fact all the political parties of the state should be taken into confidence in this regard,” he said.
Even on Bihar Diwas issue the Janata Dal (United) totally ignored the BJP.
