Patna,(BiharTimes): The state government on Tuesday sanctioned a proposal for construction of approach roads in 54,103 tolas (hamlets) with population upto 250 people at an estimated cost of Rs 26,535 crores under the Mukhya Mantri Gram Sampark Yojana (MMGSY).

The Additional Secretary (Cabinet Coordination and Secretariat) Vinod Prasad Singh said that altogether 37,908 kms road would be constructed over the next five under the MMGSY which commenced this year.
He said that till date 54,488 tolas have been connected with approach roads out of 1,09,591 tolas under the scheme.
