Patna,(BiharTimes): The mortal remains of former Bihar minister, Ramashray Prasad Singh, were consigned to flames at Digha Ghat in the state capital with full state honours on Monday. His son Rajiv Niranjan lit the pyre.

The funeral procession started from his house at Kankarbagh and reached his official residence at 4, Strand Road. The body was also kept on the state legislature premises and, later, taken to Janata Dal (United) office where leaders paid tributes to the departed soul.
Nitish placed a wreath on the body and remained at the cremation ground till the last rites were performed. At the party office, mourners observed two minutes silence.
Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary, Council chairman and deputy chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh and Salim Parvez, respectively, all ministers, former CM Jagannath Mishra, state Janata Dal (United) chief Vashishth Narayan Singh, leader of opposition in the state Assembly Abdul Bari Siddiqui and a large number of MPs and legislators paid their tributes to Singh.
