Patna,(BiharTimes): A youth was killed in a clash between boarders of Patel Chatrawas and Chayeen Tola near Bhikna Pahari More under Kadam Kuan Police Station of Patna on Monday night.

One boarder of the hostel Rajesh Kumar, a native of Aurangabad district, and a student of Patna College was killed. Two others sustained serious injuries and had to be rushed to the Patna Medical College and Hospital. 

More violence was reported from the area on Tuesday morning. The entire area has been cordoned off and police patrolling has been intensified. 

Several more casualties were reported on Tuesday. Two of the students who sustained injuries on Monday night has been identified as Anu Shekhar and Anil.

Angry boarders later indulged in brickbatting and torched a few motorcycles.According to reports the inmates of hostel explodd bombs in retaliation to the attack. The Kadam Kuam police station had to disperse the mob.

Additional forces were deployed.A road accident on Sunday sparked off the clash. A resident of neighbouring Chayeen Tola riding a motorcycle knocked down a hostel inmate. The boarders took him to hostel and thrashed him. The locals said that Monday attack was in retaliation to the thrashing.
