Jharkhand HC summons records of CBI court in Lalu conviction case

Patna,(BiharTimes): The single bench of Justice R R Prasad of Jharkhand High Court on Friday directed that all records of the special CBI court pertaining to the fodder scam case related to RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav be placed before it.
It was only on Thursday that Lalu had moved the high court against his conviction. In his petition he sought bail and stay on five years jail term and Rs 25 lakh fine slapped by the CBI court.
The court also served notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
