Nitish must not celebrate Lalu’s conviction: Rajiv Pratap Rudy

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bharatiya Janata Party leader and general secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that it is wrong for the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar to celebrate the conviction of RJD chief Lalu Yadav in a fodder scam case.

Talking to the media he said “we have learnt that Nitish Kumar celebrated Lalu Yadav’s conviction. This is not appropriate. We, in BJP, do not do this,” he said adding that anyway there is no scope for Nitish Kumar to be glad as he too may one day land in trouble.

It needs to be mentioned that after 17 long years of association the BJP now holds Nitish Kumar too responsible for the fodder scam. Its former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi has repeatedly said that both Nitish and Janata Dal (United) general secretary, Shivanand Tiwary, received money from the kingpin of the scam, late Shyam Bihari Sinha. The latter had told this to the CBI during his confession.
This allegation infuriated Tiwary, who a few days back told the media, that he would have once beaten Sushil Modi in the state Assembly with shoes.
