Sonia, Lalu to share dais in Bihar, say Cong, RJD |
Patna,(BiharTimes): Congress and RJD leaders on Tuesday announced that the national president of both the parties, Sonia Gandhi and Lalu Prasad would share dais for electioneering in Bihar after April 10. Talking to the media Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president Prem Chand Mishra, who is also the media incharge of the party, rubbished reports appearing in a section of the media about so-called fissures between the Congress and RJD. He said the Congress president had already shared the dais with RJD candidate and former Union minister Kanti Singh during a rally in Sasaram on April 3,. RJD national spokesperson Manoj Jha, who was also present in the Press conference dismissed all such reports appearing in the media as mere speculations and added that they are being planted by vested interest. They both alleged that such canards are being spread at the behest of the BJP and JD(U). They are being spread to create confusion among supporters of Congress-RJD-NCP alliance in Bihar. A joint poster containing pictures of Sonia and Lalu was also on display on this occasion. The two leaders claimed that the Congress-RJD-NCP alliance in Bihar is going to win majority of seats in the state. Prem Chand Mishra also came down heavily on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, for raising the issue of Pink Revolution while delivering a speech in Nawada. He asked as to why is Modi silent when cows are being slaughtered in Gujarat. |
