Patna,(BiharTimes): Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said on Sunday that the Bharatiya Janata Party would give tickets to Muslims in the next year Assembly election in Bihar. Speaking before the flagging off ‘Bedari Rath’ (Awakening Chariot) he said that his party had given tickets to the Muslims in Haryana in the recently held Assembly election.

State party chief Mangal Pandey, who too was present on the occasion, came down heavily on the former chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav for neglecting the Muslims and doing only lip service. Former JD(U) minister, Jamshed Ashraf, who sometimes back joined BJP, accused the secular parties of ignoring and neglecting the Muslims ever since after independence. They unnecessarily whip up fear against the BJP, he added.
