Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar unit of the Janata Dal (United) has decided to change the presidents of four district units for their poor performance during the first phase of the Sampark Yatra (Nov 13-28).The party removed the presidents of Saran, Madhubani, Samastipur and Buxar.

While three of the district presidents––Krishna Kumar alias Mantu Singh (Saran), Santosh Kumar Nirala (Buxar) and Ashok Kumar (Samastipur)––are MLAs Udaykant Choudhary of Madhubani is an MLC.The action has been taken just before the second phase of Sampark Yatra, which is to start from December 15, 2014.

According to party insiders Nitish was not happy with the turnout at his Sampark Yatra meetings in these four places. More heads are likely to roll later.In the second leg of Sampark Yatra, Nitish would be visiting Khagaria, Madhepura and Saharsa districts.
