Patna,(BiharTimes): A division bench of Justice V N Sinha and Justice Prabhat Kumar Jha of the Patna High Court on Monday stayed the suspension of Commissioner of Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), Kuldeep Narayan. The state government had on Friday (Dec 12) night suspended him on the charge of not purchasing the fogging machine.

The bench asked the state government to submit the original file relating to proceedings against him on Tuesday when the Court would again hear the matter.The Court observed that the action of the state government appears to be “in teeth of” the High Court order of July 2013 not to transfer the PMC Commissioner without its consent. Even Supreme Court had upheld the HC order on the matter.
