Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said onSaturday that the state government would give facilities to the poor and downtrodden among upper castes on par with the SCs, STs and Pasmanda Muslims. Speaking at a function after inaugurating various state government schemes at Murhara village under Ratni Faridpur block in Jehanabad district he said the poor belonging to Savrna (upper castes) would get the benefit on par with the SCs, STs and Pasmanda Muslims.

For this opinion has been sought from Savrna Commission. If it does not come on time the state government would take decision on its own. He asked how can social harmony be established if efforts are not made to uplift the downtrodden section of the society.
