Chandra Mohan Rai resigns from all BJP posts |
Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Bihar minister Chandra Mohan Rai on Thursday finally resigned from all the party posts. In a letter to the state party chief, Mangal Pandey, regretted that he was humiliated by the party for which he devoted his entire life. Rai was upset after being denied ticket for the Lok Sabha seat. The party gave tickets to new-comers, turn-coats, politicians with criminal background and those who promoted family rule but not Chandra Mohan Rai. The letter said that he was never considered for the post of state party chief nor was made the leader of the party in the state Assembly. He lamented that nobody said anything when he was sacked from the ministry way back in 2008. And now he was not even considered for the Lok Sabha ticket. Rai is not the only senior old leaders of the party who publicly denounced the way the party is functioning in Bihar. |
