Bhubaneswar, Nov 6 (IANS) Exuding confidence that the NDA will win the elections in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir, Union Food Minister Ram Vilas Paswan Thursday said the grand alliance between Lalu Prasad's RJD, Nitish Kumar's JD-U and the Congress in Bihar would not last long.
"The grand alliance of Lalu Prasad, Nitish Kumar and the Congress would not last long and they would snap ties before the 2015 assembly elections," the Lok Janshakti Party leader told media persons here.
"Before fighting the elections, they will fight for seat-sharing that will lead to separation," he said.
Paswan hit out at Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad for indulging in "caste politics" in Bihar.
He said their alliance would not pose any problem for his party and denied that there was any difference of opinion between the LJP and BJP in Bihar.
He said his party will fight under the NDA in Bihar and emerge victorious in the assembly election.
"The Narendra Modi wave, which swept the Maharashtra and Haryana polls, will also show its charisma in Bihar. We will fight the election under NDA," Paswan said.
He said the NDA will come to power in Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and even in Delhi.
Elections in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir will be held in five phases starting Nov 25.
