Patna,(BiharTimes): In the harshest criticism from anyone till yet after “the upper castes are foreigners remarks” the controversial Janata Dal (United) MLA, Anant Singh, on Thursday went to the extent of calling the chief minister as mad.

Talking to the media the Mokama strongman said that “Manjhi Pagal mukhiya mantri hai, humlog se galti hua…isko jaldi hata do…hum andolan karenge. (Jitan Ram Manjhi is a mad chief minister… We have committed a mistake...Remove him immediately…I will launch agitation.”)

Anant Singh, who is considered close to former chief minister said he would appeal to Nitish Kumar to once again become CM of Bihar.

His statement came on the day when the Janata Dal (United) dissociated itself from the CM’s remarks. Nitish, who is on his Sampark Yatra, avoided answer to the media to any such question by stating: “Let me do my work.”

However, the party spokesman, Neeraj Kumar, said that JD(U) does not agree with the chief minister’s remarks. “This is his personal opinion. We talk of inclusive politics,” he added.

Sanjay Jha, another party leader too close to Nitish, is of the view that such remarks are harming the party. Even the good works done by the state government are getting lost.

The BJP has already flayed the chief minister’s statement as it goes against the very idea of the saffron brigade, which does not buy any such foreign origin theory of Aryans.
